ButterPhone provides an AI-powered phone assistant service designed for restaurants. Our service answers incoming calls, takes orders, handles reservations, and responds to frequently asked questions on behalf of your business.

3. Use of Service

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Use the service to transmit harmful, offensive, or misleading content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service
• Resell or redistribute the service without prior written consent

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

5. Billing and Payments

By subscribing to ButterPhone, you agree to pay the applicable fees for your chosen plan. Billing terms include:

• Free trial: Your first month is free with no credit card required
• Subscription fees: Charged on a monthly basis after the trial period
• Usage-based charges: Additional charges may apply based on call volume
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time with no early termination fees

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the ButterPhone service — including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and AI models — are owned by ButterPhone, LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you provide to us, such as menu items and business information.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ButterPhone shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you during the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of our service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of ButterPhone after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
